5G!Drones kickoff Meeting took place at Thales premises in Paris, France from 10 to 12 June 2019. In this kickoff meeting, 20 partners from eight European countries (Austria, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Poland, Switzerland and UK) met in order to discuss actions to be taken for the 5G!Drones plans.

Extensive discussions took place on the drones advances that are expected by 5G, allowing the realization of novel use cases.

WP1 will focus in the definition of these novel use cases, which will later on the project lifetime demonstrated at the involved 5G facilities, such as 5GENESIS, 5G-EVE and others.
