The 5G-PPP – The European 5G Annual Journal 2021 by 5G-PPP and 5G-IA was released in May 2021. In the timeframe of this annual report the last set of 5G PPP projects have started. These projects cover vital areas such as 5G innovations for verticals with third party services (ICT-41), 5G core technologies innovation (ICT-42) and Smart Connectivity beyond 5G (ICT-52). 5G!Drones project was present at EuCNC 2021 & 6G Summit conference through its virtual booth No 4! It was one week full of events. Several visitors visited us online during 8-11 June 2021. The 7th 5G!Drones GA plenary meeting was organised remotely due to safety restrictions that apply worldwide! This virtual GA meeting run for 2 days (1-2 June 2021) discussing the project progress, WPs/tasks activities, the upcoming deliverables, milestones and the new goals to be met over the next period. 5G IA and NetworldEurope ETP signed a collaboration agreement to facilitate research and innovation for beyond 5G & 6G networks as well as smart networks and services. On 28th April 2021 in Brussels, Dr Colin Willcock, Chairman of the Board of the 5G Infrastructure Association (5G IA) and Professor Rui Luis Andrade Aguiar, Chairman of NetworldEurope ETP Steering Board, co-signed a collaboration agreement to foster cooperation and synergies on European Research Activities on the ICT sector.
