The 5G-PPP Projects Heritage figure (Version 1.0) was released and depicts the PPP programmatic connections between projects over the different phases. 5G!Drones as a phase 3 (ICT-19) project participates in the 5G-PPP projects heritage figure, interconnected with the 5GENESIS and 5GEVE phase 3 projects (performing trials on their 5G experimental platforms).
Just released! Check out the European 5G Annual Journal 2020 (5th edition) by Full 5G and 5G-PPP. The phase 3 projects of the 5G-PPP show the way for use cases in vertical industries such as transport, manufacturing, energy and deliver on Europe’s 5G trial strategy. 5G!Drones participates in this Full 5G and 5G-PPP annual release by providing a project overview and details about the four 5G!Drones use cases which will be executed in four 5G platforms across Europe. In May 2020, NCSRD team, 5G!Drones partner, performed the first feasibility flight of a drone piloting over 5G, i.e. transmitting the C2 (Communication and Control) channel over 5G.
