5G!Drones at Interpol Drone Expert Summit

Gokul Srinivasan, robots.expert, 5G!Drones partner, presented the 5G!Drones and its upcoming trials during the Interpol Drone Expert summit in Oslo. Besides the presentation, Gokul was also interviewed by the INTERPOL communications team and he spoke about 5GDrones project, and the upcoming trials in Egaleo stadium, in the context of use of drones and 5G for police and first responders. 5G!Drones in EuCNC 2022

EuCNC 2022, 7-10 June 2022, Grenoble, France. 6G SNS IA report

The Member State Initiatives Subgroup (MSI) of the 6G-IA Vision and Societal Challenges WG has released the report “5G, beyond 5G, and 6G Activities Promoted by Member States”. The document reports that, as of today, all MSs have developed strategies or roadmaps for 5G deployment and their evolution towards B5G/6G networks in the 2020-2025 time frame. 5G!Drones at IEEE GLOBECOM 2021

Dr. Harilaos Koumaras (NCSRD), 5G!Drones partner, participated at Industry Panel “5G and beyond – The Perspective of European Research Projects” of IEEE GLOBECOM 2021 on 8th December 2021. At this panel he had the chance to discuss issues related to 5G and UAVs and also and present the “Findings and lessons learnt from the 5G trials of 5G!Drones project”.
