New 5G!Drones video release

5G!Drones partners NCSR “DEMOKRITOS” and COSMOTE conducted UAV trials in the COSMOTE Academy premises in Athens, Greece in July 2021. The trials took place for 5 days (28 June – 2 July 2021) on the context of Use Case 4 and several scenarios were tested. These trials are part of all the test taking place towards the preparation for the final trials in October 2022. Read more “New 5G!Drones video release”


5G!Drones paper in IEEE MeditCom 2021

IEEE MeditCom (7-10 September 2021, Athens, Greece) bringed together visionaries in academia, research labs and industry from all over the world to the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, with programming that will address many of the outstanding challenges that exist in the areas of communications and networking. The conference solicited research papers on a wide range of research topics, spanning both theoretical and systems research along with vertical technologies. Aalto University showcases 5G!Drones

Aalto University, 5G!Drones partner, has performed a small showcasing event on 27th May 2021. The showcasing was for the benefit of first graders students from the international school of Espoo, Finland. AU presented its current work related to cellular drones and virtual reality (VR) as part of 5G!Drones activities and also presented a demo of streaming a 360 video from flying drones. The demos have been developed as part of MOSA!C Lab’s contributions to the EU H2020 5G!Drones project. Read more “Aalto University showcases 5G!Drones”
